Alright, so I have been really busy lately, not that I have anything to show for it. So that explains why I haven’t been keeping up with my blogging responsibilities. The truth is that (like an idiot) I have started working out again. Well, since I am apparently unemployable, might as well be constructive with my time. But I am remembering how much working out takes out of me — time-wise (takes me about 2 1/2 hrs. each time), recovery-wise (I’m not in undergrad anymore and all that extra work hurts!), plus all the extra shower and laundry time!

i think my body is starting to remember lifting weights; i lifted 81,000 lbs total yesterday. it does help that i’m active athletically (although i may not look like it)

Got my package yesterday! I was so excited to open it – by the way, Jereme, your packaging job was beautiful. I think you could have shipped eggs and they would have arrived intact.
All kidding aside, thanks so much for my prizes. I haven’t had a chance to do more than flip through the cookbook, but I can’t wait to start reading! My husband lived in Michigan for a lot of his childhood and got a kick out of the oven mitt!
